Eligibility to enter the Competition

The Lucky Pet Facebook Page is open to all individuals.
This competition is only open to South African citizens who are resident in South Africa.
In order to enter this competition you must agree to these terms and conditions.

Entry into Competition

To enter the competition you need to log into your Facebook account and ‘like’ the Lucky Pet Facebook Page.
You will then be required to complete the steps set out on the page entitled “how it works”.
You may cast a maximum of 20 (twenty) votes in this competition for any cat entered into the competition.
Participation in this competition is free of charge.
No employee of Oceana Brands Limited, Oceana Group Limited and its subsidiaries’, or any of their associate companies, promotion agencies’ and or their marketing/advertising agencies’ nor their relatives may enter this competition under any circumstances.
Cat’s entered into the competition must belong to the registered Facebook user. Proof must be provided on request from Oceana Brands Limited or Oceana Group Limited.
By entering the competition and supplying your information, you consent to receive relevant e–mail, SMS or post information related to this competition.

Closing date

Prize Winner Selection

The 12 (twelve) cats which receive the most votes from registered Facebook users on the Lucky Pet Facebook Page will be the winners of this competition.
The judges of the competition will announce the winners within two weeks of the closing date.
The 12 winners will receive Lucky Pet Product hampers, and their cats will feature in the 2012 Lucky Pet Cat Calendar.
All prizes are subject to availability and should any prize be unavailable, a prize of similar price or specification/quality will be substituted.
Prizes are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Prize Winner Notification

Winners will be notified telephonically and in writing via email in accordance with the telephonic and e–mail details provided when entering the competition.
Winners’ names will also be posted on the Lucky Pet Facebook page.
Winners (along with their cats) can select whether they wish to be photographed for our Lucky Pet Facebook Page and or the Lucky Pet website, but there is no obligation to do so.

Prize Winner Verification

All winners must verify their identity by providing a certified copy of their South African identity document.
Winners are also obliged to depose to an affidavit to confirm that they are not employees, nor are they in any way related to any employees of Oceana Brands Limited; Oceana Group Limited and its subsidiaries; or any of their associate companies or promotions; and or their marketing / advertising agencies.

Prize Delivery

Oceana Brands Limited will arrange the delivery of the prize as soon as the winners have been verified and advise the winners of the delivery date and time.
Prizes will be delivered to the physical address provided by the winners.
Prizes will only be delivered to the winners and not a representative.

General

Should the entrant / you wish to receive any marketing material or promotional offers from Oceana Brands Limited in the future, then they may do so by completing the tick box on the Lucky Pet website, but there is no obligation to do so.
Should you after the competition, not want to receive any further brand and product information, one should ‘unlike’ the Lucky Pet Facebook Page.
Oceana Brands Limited or Oceana Group Limited reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions of this competition from time to time.
The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Oceana Brands Limited cannot accept any liability for the lack of internet connectivity or problems with the Lucky Pet Facebook Page at any time.
Oceana Brands Limited reserves the right to change the rules of this competition at any stage for any reason whatsoever.
This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook and information provided when entering this competition is for Oceana Brands Limited and not Facebook. Facebook will bear no liability in respect of this competition.

Disqualification

Should you be found to be cheating in any form, then Oceana Brands Limited or Oceana Group Limited will be entitled, but not obliged to disqualify you from this competition and or ban you from all further competitions and promotions run by Oceana Brands, Oceana Group and any of its subsidiaries.
By accepting these terms and conditions, you agree that upon the discovery of any problem with the application, you will immediately report it to techsys@admin.co.za detailing the nature of the problem and when you first became aware of the problem.
If you fail to comply with these terms and conditions, then Oceana Brands Limited or Oceana Group Limited will be entitled but not obliged to disqualify you.
